MY HUSBAND GAVE AWAY MY BELOVED DOG WITHOUT ASKING
I came home yesterday, and my dog—my sweet Winnie—was gone. Just… gone. My husband tells me, as casually as if he were talking about the weather, that he “re-homed” him because Winnie was “too much work.” I’m devastated. Winnie was my heart, my constant companion, and now he’s just… not here.
To make it worse, the kids came to ask where Winnie was. I didn’t even know what to say, and my husband just shrugged and said, “You’ll get over it.” I can’t believe how cold and heartless that is.
I don’t know what to do. I miss my dog so much, and I feel completely helpless. How do I even begin to deal with this? What should I do?
